Kindergarten Winter Olympics

The JKHA Kindergarten Indoor Winter Olympics were held on February 10, 2006 coinciding with the Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy. All the events took place in our gym. The classes were divided into groups. Opening ceremonies began when the Kindergarten classes marched into the gym following the Olympic torch. The games they participated in were hockey, bob sledding, curling, speed skating and moguls. The children enjoyed each event. Sportsmanship, cooperation and team spirit were demonstrated by all. Closing ceremonies included the singing of our National Anthem and Hatikvah. Gold medals were awarded to each child. Mr. Craig Goldman organized and set up the entire Kindergarten Winter Olympics. Thank you Mr. Goldman for giving the children a wonderful experience and for getting them excited about the Winter Games. Thank you to our parent volunteers who helped make everything run so smoothly. We salute Team USA!!!
