Bonim FAQ

I just moved to a Greater MetroWest community in the past year. Am I still eligible to receive this incentive?

If you were established as a resident of one of the participating communities or if you moved from a Greater Metro West community prior to December 14, 2014, you are not eligible for this program; however, we can partner with you through other exciting initiatives for affordable education. Please click here to learn more.

Is the amount of the incentive independent of the grade or school division?

Yes. If you’re eligible for the program, your child(ren) can be enrolled in any grade and receive the financial benefit outlined above.

Are we still eligible if our second child is born after we move?

Yes. Bonim program benefits will be available to a second child born within three years of a qualifying family’s move date.

Is there a deadline on when I have to move to the community and/or enroll in the school?

In order to receive the full annual benefit, you must enroll by the start of the school year; should you enroll at any other point in the school year, your benefit will be prorated accordingly.

Do I have to join one of the participating synagogues to take advantage of the tuition discount?

Yes. In order to participate in the tuition benefits, you must become and remain an active member of a participating synagogue.

I am moving from within the Greater MetroWest area to a participating synagogue/community. Would I still be eligible?

You must move from outside the Greater MetroWest area in order to participate in the Bonim program. Our school offers additional affordability programs and financial assistance awards. Please click here to learn more.

What are the synagogues offering? How can I get more information about their part of the program?

Refer to the list of participating synagogues above. We anticipate adding to this list in the coming months. Please contact each individual synagogue directly for more detailed information on their offerings, and continue to check back for additional participating synagogues.
