We greatly value the trust you place in us with your children and their education. We are determined to provide educational excellence, cultivate your children’s curiosity, help them find their voices, and encourage them to explore new opportunities. In tandem with their robust educational experiences, students are supported by their devoted faculty and teachers.
Although we strive to keep operating costs down, many factors contribute to the rise in our annual expenses. Health care, benefits, building repairs, curricular material, technology up-keep and other factors are considered when determining tuition. Accordingly, the Board of Directors, in conjunction with the educational administration, have determined that a tuition increase for next year is necessary for us to operate a balanced budget. The tuition increase for the 2017-2018 school year will be 2%.
On many occasions I have highlighted the extensive security program we maintain to protect our students, school community, and campus. For the past several years, the operating budget absorbed the additional costs associated with increased security. The costs are unfortunately necessary during these complicated times. To maintain the safety of our school we are compelled to add a security assessment for each student of $100. This assessment will permit us to provide our high standards of security.
We want to reiterate that JKHA/RKYHS is committed to partner with our parents to manage the cost of tuition. JKHA/RKYHS offers affordability programs (https://www.jkha.org/Affordability) which thoughtfully support parents’ commitment to Jewish education. If you have any questions regarding financial assistance, please contact Daniel Israeli, CFOO, at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 862-437-8100.
We thank you for your support, and we continue, as always, to appreciate your commitment to a JKHA/RKYHS education.
